On Saturday, 1 October, at 10:00 AM, we walked together at Syntagma Square, with the aim of promoting friendship, acceptance, inclusion, and the equality of persons with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
With each step we are changing lives.
Best Buddies International is a global volunteer organisation aimed at providing support to, and ensuring the social inclusion of, persons with intellectual and/or other developmental disabilities.
This international organisation achieves its aims through three programmes:
• one-to-one friendships;
• integrated employment; and
• leadership development for persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
