Ithaca Laundry Labour Empowerment Workshop

In March, we found ourselves at the Serafio Athletic & Community Complex, where we held our first Labour Empowerment Workshop for the beneficiaries of the “Housing and Work” programme, in collaboration with the Social Solidarity and Civil Society of Athens Municipality.
People of all ages, who belong to socially vulnerable groups, had the opportunity to get empowered and trained on:
• properly compiling a resume;
• how to look for jobs;
• tips for a successful interview.
Most importantly, though, we had the opportunity to listen to these people’s experiences and dreams!
We are certain that this meeting will become an important starting point for their mobilisation and inclusion in the labour market.
